Dr. Dana Raspberry, DDS

Dr. Dana Raspberry brings a rare blend of precision engineering and compassionate dental care to his practice. A graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (1987), Dr. Raspberry began his career as a licensed Professional Engineer, serving as a Lead Engineer at Dow Chemical for eight years. Inspired by a desire to serve others more directly, he made a bold transition into dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999.

Dr. Raspberry is the owner of Texan Dental and has become known for his expertise, patient-first approach, and commitment to continued learning. He holds advanced training in oral surgery, endodontic therapy, Invisalign®, Lumineers®, dental lasers, CEREC® same-day crowns, and sleep apnea treatment.

Dr. Raspberry is a proud member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American General Dental Society, American Association of Endodontists, and the American Association of Clear Aligners. He is also a lifelong member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

Outside the office, Dr. Raspberry is a devoted father to two daughters who are the center of his world. Whether cheering them on in their pursuits or enjoying quality time together, family remains his greatest joy. For 13 years, he coached youth track and field for ages 6 through 18—an experience that not only strengthened his bond with his children but also allowed him to mentor and inspire young athletes in the community. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, fitness training, and attending family events.
